Clinical psychotherapy is a process of deepening self awareness and strengthening authenticity.  The subtle art of therapy occurs by taking an honest look at emotional patterns and behaviors.  The outcome is an increased understanding of why we feel the way we do, and in turn realizing how this all unfolds in our lives.  This new found self awareness affects our lives in countless positive ways.

In my psychotherapy practice I emphasize working with children and adolescents.  One of the most essential developmental tasks for young people is to discover who they are.  Therapy is profoundly well fit for this process.  Developing an understanding of your own emotional landscape at a young age allows for greater maturity and authentic decision making.  Therapy helps young people unravel their complex family dynamics and increase genuine individuality.  The gift of psychotherapy is the ability to be in charge of ourselves with confidence, emotional intelligence, and deep satisfaction.
